Resources Staff participated in Red Shirt Day Event at our offices. Staff wore red and made pledges.

Also known as the Red Shirt Day of Action for AccessAbility and Inclusion, is a day in Canada where people wear red to show support for people with disabilities and promote accessibility and inclusion. It’s celebrated as part of National AccessAbility Week.

By participating in the event, staff showed Symbol of Solidarity with individuals with disabilities and their families, Celebration of Achievements and contributions of people living with disabilities and commitment to inclusion. Red Shirt Day is not just a one-day event at Resources but is practiced by our staff throughout the year as we promote accessibility and inclusion.

Wearing red on Red Shirt Day demonstrates support for individuals with disabilities and their families.
