Join Our Volunteer Board of Directors
Are you passionate about strengthening community-based organizations and helping them live out their mission and values? Resources is currently seeking a dedicated volunteer to join our Board of Directors.
We’re looking for someone with strong financial experience who is interested in growing into the Secretary / Treasurer role (bylaws stipulate executive members must serve a minimum of one-year on the Board of Directors as a general member before consideration for an executive position). Ideal candidates will share our commitment to respectful partnerships, inclusive and individualized support and a deep belief in hope and possibility within all children, youth and their families.
Our Board is a welcoming and engaged team with a relaxed atmosphere, where thoughtful discussion and collaboration thrive. We meeting monthly (except there are no meetings in December, July and August), dinner is provided and we offer hybrid participation options for added flexibility. Resources is a growing organization embarking on a modernization journey and for our board members, there are lots of opportunities for professional development.
If you are ready to contribute your expertise and passion to an awesome organization, we’d love to hear from you. For further information, please check out the volunteer posting here.

We work alongside families, educators and communities by listening deeply and building trust through meaningful collaboration. We show up with integrity, centering those we serve as the experts in their own lives.
We believe every child and youth belongs. We honour their strengths, identities, stories and cultures, and tailor support to reflect each person’s unique needs and priorities. We work to reduce barriers and foster participation in all aspects of life – at home, in school and/or child care and in the community.
We hold space for growth, resilience and the belief in what’s possible. Through collaborative interactions, we foster a future shaped by inclusion, opportunity and lasting impact.
