Below are funding opportunities that include criteria that are based on a diagnosis or type of special need.

Easter Seals Financial Assistance
Easter Seals Ontario provides direct financial assistance to children, youth and young adults (up to 19 years of age) with physical disabilities (who are registered with Easter Seals), to assist with the purchase of specialized mobility equipment and communication devices.

Easter Seals Camp Funding
Easter Seals Ontario offers subsidy for camp fees at their camping facilities for campers with disabilities under the age of 19 years as of July 1 of the camping year), and who are not a Crown Ward. Families are asked to pay what they can, with a minimum payment of $150. The remainder will be funded by their generous donors.

Easter Seals Recreational Choices Funding
Easter Seals Ontario offers funding for children and youth with physical disabilities 5 to 18 years of age who are not attending an Easter Seals camp.  Up to $250 per child/youth for a recreation experience in Ontario including day camp, recreation camp, swimming lessons, etc.

Easter Seals Incontinence Supplies Grant Program
Easter Seals Ontario offers funding for children and youth between the ages of 3 to 18 years with chronic disabilities (physical or developmental) and who require the use of diapers and incontinence supplies.  The grant is a contribution to the cost of supplies and may not cover all costs.

Muscular Dystrophy Canada (Mobility Equipment Program)
The Mobility Equipment Program provides financial assistance for individuals living with a neuromuscular disorder (who are registered with Muscular Dystrophy Canada) for the purchase of assistive devices to aid with mobility, breathing, positioning, accessibility and communication.

Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy (Assistive Devices and Activity Funding)
The Assistive Devices funding program provides financial assistance for equipment for individuals living with cerebral palsy (CP) in Ontario and who are registered members of Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy.  They also offer limited Activity Funding for their members to participate in structured community activities and camps.

War Amps – CHAMP Program
The War Amps CHAMP Program provides financial assistance for child amputees and their families.  They may partially fund artificial and recreational limbs, and when the family does not live near a prosthetic and rehabilitation centre may fund travel costs to and from the centre.
